From the Winemaker
This wine celebrates our home, the Leese-Fitch adobe. Built in 1836, this historical landmark in the Sonoma Plaza was named after Jacob Leese and Henry Fitch, brothers-in-law to General Mariano Vallejo, the founder of the town of Sonoma.
Flavors reminiscent of dark plum, raspberry, tobacco leaf, cocoa nibs, and rhubarb finishing with a hint of earthy loam, black cherry, and toffee. The crisp acidity keeps you coming back for more.
This is a very fun Pinot Noir blend. This would pair with an array of foods. From Korean BBQ, to American BBQ, to Italian food with fresh tomato sauces, to Greek food, the possibilities are endless.
Welcome to the proverbial 'little black dress' of wine. This low alcohol Pinot Noir from Sonoma is the 'goes with everything' wine you didn't realize you needed. An enticing spicy aroma followed with mouth-watering flavors of red berries and and sweet plums creates a compelling, enjoyable wine able to be served with everything from traditional grilled foods to wild fusion creations you watched your favorite competitor make on some cooking reality tv show.
